The Department of Leadership and Integrative Studies in University College at Kennesaw State University is seeking applicants for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Integrative Studies. The position will begin on August 1, 2020. The ideal candidate is a collegial scholar-practitioner with interdisciplinary expertise.
 
 
Teaching responsibilities include instruction in the Integrative Studies (INTS) degree program. Additional responsibilities include the presentation and publication of interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed scholarship as well as campus and external service. Priority will be given to candidates with successful teaching experience in a college/university.
 
 
Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications): Candidates must have an earned doctorate with an interdisciplinary focus, or the foreign equivalent, and evidence of interdisciplinary scholarship. ABDs close to completion will be considered. Doctorate must be earned by July 31, 2020.
 
 
A record of scholarship is also required commensurate with experience. Willingness to engage in professional service at all levels of the campus and within relevant disciplines is also a requirement; Experience teaching and/or credentials to teach Integrative Studies at the university level; Knowledge of the application of technology to enhance teaching and learning; Evidence of scholarly presentation and publication potential; Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Commitment to working with a diverse student population; Commitment to work in an environment that values diversity, inclusion, equity, and collaboration.
