Colby College - VAP Poetics and British Poetry[]
Applications are invited for a one‑year sabbatical replacement, for the 2012‑2013 academic year, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, from candidates with demonstrated teaching excellence and publications in the field of poetics. The successful candidate will be able to teach broadly in the history of British poetry, from the medieval period through the present. The ad at HigherEdJobs (link above) says "Position Deleted on 10/12/2011" and that the ad is "no longer active" on that site. Not clear, though, whether this means the job has been cancelled or they're just no longer accepting applications. It does not seem to have been advertised in the MLA JIL at all. The start date was early (January 2012), so perhaps the postition has already been filled?
