Thanks for the update. What department did or will you interview with?

12/14 notification from department of nomination to "super committee." does anyone know how many nominees from each department there are, or is it just one? Which dept? x 2 --> which department did you receive a notification from?--> from Lit

Any updates? (1/13) --> nothing from me, was told by the department that nominated me that it could be well into January before we find out next steps.

1/15 received email from super committee letting me know i wouldn't be moving on to the campus visit stage. i imagine for those who are you'll get an email from the department that nominated you soon.

1/22 Has anyone heard about a campus visit? I was nominated by a department but never received the rejection email that others posted about. So no rejection but also no invitation for a campus visit. x4

1/29 Still nothing, neither rejection nor invitation.----hmm might be that the campus visit nominees are pending approval from the dean. at this point it's more than appropriate to send the chair an email asking about the status of things. 1/30

1/30 Sent an email to the department sub-committee contact. Received an almost immediate reply stating I was not selected to continue to the next round. Good luck to anyone who is still in the running!

6/24 Any updates on when the final candidate was chosen?

12/16 -- received request to submit additional materials>> via email or interfolio? Email.>> Thanks for your reply! I asked because interfolio is asking me for more materials (12/18).

12/21-Received the following email from the department's admin assistant: "Interfolio may have prompted you to submit additional materials for the U.S. Latina/o/x Studies Tenure-Track position at Willliams College. This is the result of an editing error. Applications are under review and no additional materials are requested at this time."

12/21-Received the same email. The problem is that I had already requested the letters and now I don't know how to delete the Also, does that mean that they haven't selected candidates to the second phase yet?

Yes, no cuts have been made. If you asked for the letters via Interfolio and they haven't been sent, you can cancel the order under "Deliveries".

Any updates? (12/29)

Nothing over here (12/30)

01/06 Has anyone heard anything?

1/12 received invitation to interview>> Were you asked for additional materials too? Yes. >> Thank you for clarifying! I guess I didn't make the first cut, but good luck to you!
