Texas A&M University - Assistant Professor, Interaction/Gaming Design Position[]
The Department of Visualization at Texas A&M University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of interactive visualization with an emphasis on games for education, entertainment and/or simulation. Candidates must demonstrate experience in cross-disciplinary, collaborative work. Game production experience is desirable. Responsibilities include pursuing innovative and creative research agendas, teaching and advising at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and service to the department, university, and the field, including outreach to develop departmental-industry connections. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in game design and development, interactive graphics, and other courses as ability and program needs determine. A terminal degree (i.e., PhD, MFA) is strongly preferred. Associate-level applicants with an established record of scholarship in areas of game design and interaction will also be considered. Expected start date is August 15, 2018.

Pacific Lutheran University (WA) - Visiting Assistant Professor, Computer Science[]
General Description: Pacific Lutheran University invites applications for two 9-month positions as visiting assistant professor/instructor beginning September 1, 2017; one full-time and one part-time.
Salary: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience + benefit USD Per Year
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Teach CSCI 144 (Introduction to Computer Science) in the fall and spring. Teach additional courses such as CSCI 131(Introduction to Engineering) and a non-majors course.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Commitment to excellence in teaching and a strong interest in liberal arts education.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in computer science or related subdiscipline (e.g. electrical engineering) from an accredited institution must be in hand by September 1, 2017 for appointment at the Visiting Assistant Professor level. Master's degree is required by September 1, 2017 for appointment at the Instructor level.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.

Washington State University (WA) - Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Computer Science
Summary of Duties: Washington State University Vancouver invites applications for one non-tenure-track position at clinical assistant or clinical associate professor level beginning August 16, 2017.
Primary responsibility is to teach and develop undergraduate courses in computer science. The successful candidate is also expected to participate in graduate education. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, advising, conducting course assessments, service contributions on committees, participation in recruitment events and contributing to our campus diversity goals (e.g. incorporate issues of diversity into mentoring, curriculum, or service).
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field by the employment start date;
- Experience in application programming and Linux/Unix programming tools;
- For clinical associate professor level, minimum six years of recent, relevant teaching experience at an accredited university program.
