Dear Colleagues:

My name is Dr. Ann Callahan. I am an Associate Professor at Eastern Kentucky University and founding director of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program. Our MSW program trains students to draw from an interdisciplinary perspective for transformative partnerships that advance the social welfare of diverse clients and constituencies. MSW students simultaneously enroll in an interdisciplinary university certificate program in social advocacy and justice, child and family services, addictions intervention, mental health care, or leadership and management.

A sound field placement allows our students to apply “integrative” advanced social work practice as it relates to their certificate program. EKU is recruiting highly qualified candidates for a tenure-track MSW Field Director position (posting number F00231P) with a negotiable start date. This position is a 10-month position with a summer contract. Remote candidates are invited to apply. We are also accepting nominations for this position. Please contact Dr. Ann Callahan or Prof. Stephanie Adams-Saulnier for more information.

Kind regards, Ann Callahan
