Reposting of job after a failed search last year UPDATES:

Heard this one got cancelled...any news on it?

Looks like they reposted again, so I guess it's still on.

Failed search from last year; reposted; there is a hiring freeze at UW so it may or may not be filled - waiting to hear from provost on all searches (currently 32 at UW) - 10/12/15

    ***

This was not a failed search at all. In fact, we hired a wonderful faculty. This was an additional position that the dept was able to "trade" another position for so I'm not sure who is giving info above but it's very inaccurate.

Also there are two distinct  TT positions - One in Global/Multicultural, the Other in Ed Foundations. The global position was a faculty who left for Australia, so again - nothing frozen or cut.  Both positions are in the final stages. One is in campus visits now, the other will start next week for campus visits.  UWL continues to have a very strong and vibrant Ed program.

    ---

The job description and notes about the "failed search" under the Multicultural Ed job is from a University of Wyoming job that's been deleted. It looks like someone cut and pasted it into this post?
