Purdue University's Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for tenure track faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor for the West Lafayette campus beginning in August 2018. The department's mission focuses on teaching, research and industry/professional engagement. Purdue University seeks to attract outstanding candidates in the areas of cyber security, networking /network infrastructure and architecture, and application and software development. The selected candidates are expected to participate in both undergraduate and graduate education assignments. All candidates must have an earned PhD Degree by the start of employment. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, research, and engagement with industry, the community, and colleagues within the computing discipline.
