  • The History Department at Utica College seeks to appoint a  tenure-track Assistant Professor in History who specializes in Afro-Latinx Studies and the African-Latinx Diaspora, to start August 1, 2022.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the History curriculum in their primary field of research as well as aid in the development of the new major in Africana Studies.

  • The Latin American and Latino/a Studies Program seeks to hire an Assistant Professor of Latin American and Latinx Studies.
  • This hire is part of Vassar’s five-position Cluster Hire Initiative in the Study of Race, Racism, and Racial Justice.
  • We seek a social scientist with a multidisciplinary perspective and research competence in the study of immigration, race, and political or citizenship rights of populations from Latin America, the Caribbean, and/or North American Latinx communities.
