11/27: Anyone hears from OSU for the phonetics position?

  • R1: Not me. I applied to three phonetics positions and haven't hear from any of them.
  • R2: I heard someone received a zoom interview request.

11/25: Letter writer received request from USC compling position

11/20: Princeton Syntax rejection (11/20)

  • Anyone heard from the Princeton CogSci position? (11/20)
    • R2: Nope, but I got the syntax rejection as well.

11/19: Has anyone heard anything from the Stanford open rank/open subfield position by chance?

  • R1: Not me - In fact I have not heard from any computational jobs, and I applied to most of them.

11/4: Anyone heard from CSULB or UCSD yet? I only got a rejection from Carleton and a reference request from Cornell for 'selected applicants' so far

  • R1: haven't heard from anywhere besides Cornell, got the same email (didn't apply CSULB)
  • R2: I'm assuming this is for the UCSD Comp Ling/Socio position? I just looked up the position and they extended the review date to Nov 4th. So I'm assuming they weren't happy with the pool. I haven't heard anything and someone else I know who also applied also hasn't heard anything from them.
  • R3: No word from either. (11/14)
  • Nothing from UCSD either. they failed a socio search a few years ago, so who knows what they're doing. shortlisted candidates also reported bad experiences
  • R5: Didn't hear anything from UCSD (11/25)
