We are especially interested in the histories of non-European performance traditions, but will also carefully consider European specialists
  • Candidates will be expected to teach core courses in theater history, theory, and literature for both our undergraduate and doctoral programs, train students in historical research methods, to serve on departmental committees, and maintain a productive scholarly profile. Candidates with additional facility with the theoretical core of Performance Studies would also be welcome. We are very interested in candidates whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in higher education.
  • Basic qualification for this position is the completion of all degree requirements except the dissertation for a PhD or equivalent degree in theater, performance studies or a related humanities field at the time of application.
