Minnesota State University Mankato - Psychology, Assistant Professor

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychological Science, Statistics for Psychology, and Research Methods.

  • A typical faculty workload responsibility may include up to twenty four (24) credits of instruction per academic year.
  • The successful candidate may need to teach in other areas as assigned and qualified.
  • May be expected to develop and deliver face-to-face, hybrid, and on-line instruction at the Mankato campus, online, and/or at the university's additional locations, as assigned.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues in curriculum design, instruction and evaluation, conduct research productively and mentor students in research, help create innovative strategies for student recruitment, retention, and completion, and may be expected to develop external grant funding opportunities.

Brescia University- Assistant Professor of Psychology- General Psychology- Tenure Track

Brescia University, an Ursuline, Catholic institution, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Psychology beginning August 2020. Teaching responsibilities include a combination of four undergraduate and graduate classes per semester, in a combination of on-ground and online formats. Classes will include both upper and lower level psychology classes such as abnormal psychology, statistics, social psychology, and counseling psych, among other possibilities. Job Responsibilities and Duties:  This is a full time, tenure track teaching position in Psychology. Primary responsibilities include teaching Introduction to Psychology, courses in Cognitive Neuroscience, courses that support the major, and courses that support the Manchester University Core curriculum with additional responsibilities related to the academic program, reporting through the department chair to the Dean of the College of Education and Social Sciences.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Teaching twenty-four semester hours per academic year (may include other functions in addition to teaching, such as administrative responsibilities or clinical assignments).

University of Colorado Colorado Springs Assistant/Associate Professor of Geropsychology Position[]

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in clinical psychology with specialized training and research interests in geropsychology/aging. The position begins in August 2020. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a university-affiliated APA-accredited clinical psychology program, with evidence of research and clinical training in clinical geropsychology/aging. Potential exists for contributing to clinical training leadership.

UCCS faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and research, with the expectation that faculty maintain a productive program of research with commitment to obtain external funding. Clinical instruction and supervision in the department’s community clinic (UCCS Aging Center) may be part of the teaching load in addition to undergraduate and graduate classes.
