  • Applications received after October 1, 2017 will not be considered. All materials, including referees’ letters of recommendation, must be submitted electronically to https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/9349
  • Just got an email stating that "We just realized that the Canadian Citizenship field was not mandatory. It should have been and it has been changed.  You now need to indicate whether you are Canadian or enter the Visa type." So apparently-- if you don't already have permanent residency or citizen, your application is now invalid? Despite what it says in the ad above? Or am I misunderstanding? [posted 10/3]
  • I got the same e-mail and it led me to believe there was a question on the application that I had neglected to answer but I just checked and the only option next to Canadian citizen was yes (so I left it blank). I'm thinking maybe you do already have to be Canadian to apply or I'm completely missing something on the application form/from the e-mail. [posted 10/3]
  • (new poster here) I emailed to ask about the answer choices, and you can just put N/A in the visa type field if you're neither a Canadian citizen/Permanent Resident nor a current visa holder. She said that all complete applications will be considered for the position, and they simply need this data for statistical purposes. HTH!
  • ^^ Thank you so much! That's an extremely non-intuitive thing to do, and I definitely would not have guessed. I really appreciate you sharing this!
  • ^^ You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful.
  • Received a request to list preferred home department(s) (10/26)
  • Request for additional writing sample (11/8)
  • Invited to campus (11/20)
  • ^Congratulations and best of luck!
